Pop in to chat with experienced riders, bike shop mechanics, and active transportation enthusiasts. Everyone is welcome
CRITICAL MASS MOVIE & RIDE
Friday, October 27th
You Never Bike Alone - a 2007 documentary film exploring Vancouver's vibrant bike culture and its development as a viable form of transport. Tickets $5.
Followed by a Critical Mass Bicycle Ride on Nelson's city streets. It's Halloween weekend so come in costume. Bike lights mandatory.

The Engine Inside: New Documentary Sheds Light on the Overlooked Potential of the Bicycle. Written by our own Nelsonite, Mitchell Scott!
Members of the West Kootenay Cycling Coalition are invited to attend the 7 pm premier at the Nelson Civic Theatre this Thursday, June 29th.
We'll meet up after the film and start building bicycle culture right here in the Kootenays.

Green Link Grind and Green Link Glide
A new challenge starting in 2022!
The Green Link Grind is a 10KM long fitness challenge that follows the South Kootenay Green Link route from Trail to Rossland. See how fast you can make it up, submit your time, and get your name on the leaderboard! Times can be submitted to westkootenaycycling@gmail.co,

Biking uphill for 10KM isn't your thing? Then try the Green Link Glide! Bike from Rossland to Trail on the South Kootenay Green link route, and see how many times you need to pedal.
There's no leaderboard for this one, but if you submit your time and we'll add you to the Green Link Glide wall of fame! Times and number of pedal steps can be submitted to westkootenaycycling@gmail.com
